2004 Monterey Boats 282 Cruiser Additional Details:
Monterey has found a way to pack a lot of features into their sport cruisers, and the 282 has everything a family needs to enjoy their time away. Built on a deep-V hull with a wide 10' beam, she is a comfortable boat below and her floorplan is quite different from most midsize cruisers, both innovative and well-designed.
The head is quite large and comes with a hinged seat over the commode which makes changing clothes or taking a shower very comfortable. An athwartships double berth is foward, and has twin settees in the berth. The dinette can also be converted into a berth for a couple of kids.
Topsides, the cockpit is arranged with an aft-facing seat behind the double helm, wet bar with storage to port, and a removable rear seat. A transom door opens to a big swim platform, where dock lines and fenders can be stored in a transom box.
With only 45 hours on her engines, she is practically new and is definately worth a long, hard look.
