Boat TransportThis 1990 40 Ft Custom Steel cutter is just about the perfect cruising boat for a couple interested in setting out on an extended voyage. She is based on a Bruce Roberts 38-foot design and the plans were professionally modified for more efficient sailing capabilities.

She has everything you'll need for cruising, including:
- Full keel, beam 11 Ft., draft 5.5 Ft
- Displacement 27,000 lbs
- Water tanks - 50 gallons x 2 (100 total)
- Fuel - 70 gallons total (one 50 & one 20)
- a hard dodger
- a 125-amp high output alternator
- two 125 watt solar panels, with regulator
- Kiss wind generator, with regulator
- Instruments consist of: wind, speed and auto pilot ”Nav Man” compass KVH, depth Horizon.
- Anchors – Bruce 20 Kg with 275 ft. of chain, CQR 45 lb with 25 ft chain with 300 ft 5/8 rode
- Electric windlass.
- Sails – forward sail 150 Genoa on Shaffer 3000 roller furling, Main sail, inner stay (storm sail) - all sails are off-shore heavy fabric and triple stitched
- two bilge pumps - one standard 2200 gph and one emergency 3200 gph
- Two man-overboard lights
- Frig and freezer 3 cubic ft each
- and lots and lots of storage
