1985 Albin Cruiser Additional Details:
ALBIN CRUISER
The Albin 27 diesel Cruiser a descendent of the well-known Swedish Albin 25, one of the best selling small craft ever built. Because of her salty appearance and sturdy construction, the Albin 27 has been popular for a number of years with family cruisers seeking an easily handled and economical boat.
Her interior accommodations are nonetheless adequate. She is inexpensive to operate and requires very little maintenance. This Boat has been re-fitted to cruise year-round in northern climates. Owing to her keel cooler, dry exhaust and composting toilet, she is able to operate when the temperatures are well below freezing - like a Lobster Boat.
While Albin has built a “no-frills” boat, it has spent more than usual in construction where it counts. Her full keel/skeg design protects the prop from shallow water impact and a pronounced bow flare and fine lead-in that gives phenomenal lift when diving into a trough and starting up the back of the next wave, and you have one damn fine boat for a surprisingly reasonable price.
Since fuel prices are rising, fuel consumption is a gallon per hour at cruising speed, very economical. Located in Freeport, NY. Priced to Sell! File#B4990608P
