Fresh Water Boats Inc.
FRESHWATER THOROUGHBRED/VELOCITY SUMMER SQUALL
There's a reason why many poker runs have a minimum length of 26 feet, and it's the Velocity/Thoroughbred 26 Summer Squall. Thoroughbred boats were started in 1989 by legendary racer and boat builder Steven Stepp. After leasing the Velocity name to Regal Marine and 4 years after starting Thoroughbred, Steve regained control of Velocity. Designer Steve Stepp's 1-inch wide-pad bottom remains unchanged to this day, and when the Factory 1 class first started in offshore racing the 26-foot Velocity/Thoroughbred was the boat to beat, with it's combination of speed and superior maneuverability.
Want to leave everyone behind this summer? This is the boat for you! Owner has spared no expense with this one. This boat is immaculate with only 30 hours on rebuild and less than 150 hours on the boat you will not find a nicer Velocity/Thoroughbred 26 anywhere!
582 Cu. In. Chevy bow tie block, Callais crank, Carrillo rods, Venolia pistons Crane hydraulic roller cam, Brodix heads and intake, 1050 Dominator carb, extra large auxiliary oil cooler, MSD ignition with rev limiter, P.F. marine equal tube length headers.
