This FRESH WATER Hans Christian 38 Traditional is the one of the last 38-T built with “offshore interior” which include V-berth forward, extra large salon and chain locker, and aft cabin with dressing seat plus arched door clothes locker.
In addition to Hans Christian's construction supervisor, the owner hired his own inspector for various stages of construction. All interior teak was hand selected on site with the President of Hans Christian. This yacht has over 90 teak in her interior with many beautiful accommodations. Over 9,000 man-hours of artisan and craft skills are devoted to build one Hans Christian 38 Traditional during four months of yard time.
She has ALWAYS been meticulously maintained by her loving owners! The finish on this boat is just beautiful, inside and out. All machinery was installed in the US at the Seattle facility. Off-white topsides and deck is Awlgrip. The sails, dodger and full canvas enclosure are new in 2004 with very little use.
